Effects of this medicine
・This medicine decreases blood pressure by blockingβ1-receptors. It also suppresses excess activity of the heart, preventing angina attacks and controlling irregular pulse.
・It is usually used to treat essential hypertension (mild to moderate), angina pectoris and tachyarrhythmia (sinus tachycardia, extrasystole).
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. However, the maximum daily dose is 4 tablets (100 mg) at a time. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, sinoatrial block, sick sinus syndrome, cardiogenic shock, right heart failure due to pulmonary hypertension, congestive heart failure, hypotension, peripheral circulatory disorder or untreated pheochromocytoma.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

・This medicine may cause dizziness or light headedness. Pay attention when operating dangerous machinery, such as driving a car.
