However, he died at the young age of 37, remaining an unknown writer during his lifetime. Even after his death, his family continued to believe in his talent, and continued to send his works to the world without giving up, which is why they have come to be highly acclaimed. Naoki Prize-winning novelist Keiki Kadoi's "Father of the Galactic Railroad," which tells the story of the ultimate family love featuring Kenji Miyazawa's father, Masajiro, has been adapted to film by Izuru Narushima, director of "The Eighth Day of the Cicada" and "Inochi no Tokuba," with Koji Yakusho in the lead. The music is composed by Shogo Kaida, winner of the 42nd Japan Academy Prize for Best Music for "The Cherry Blossom Guard of the North". The fantastic strings and ensemble will move your heart. The CD also includes a special bonus track, "Hoshi-Meguri no Uta" (Song of the Starlight) sung by Kenji Miyazawa, played by Masaki Sugata, and the people of Hanamaki!
