New optimized design with a large friction surface for greater braking power and reduced brake fade. The newly designed aluminum spider with a 7-point attachment of the friction ring also ensures better heat dissipation and lower weight. By reducing disc vibrations during braking, noise has been further minimized.

The rounded edges on the top of the disc minimize the risk of injury and comply with UCI guidelines. Another advantage is that they make wheel installation easier because the rounded top prevents the brake caliper from tilting.
